SBG is not VAT registered. No VAT is charged. Domain, hosting and paid third-party services are separate, with costs agreed before work starts.
Both website packages include mobile-friendly pages, page titles and descriptions, HTTPS setup on the chosen host and launch checks. You supply the business facts, approved copy, logo and images you have permission to use.
Light copy editing improves supplied wording; original copywriting, research and photography are extra. We can quote for sourcing images or paid licences before using them. Simple policy pages using your approved text can sit outside the core page count; legal drafting is excluded.
Existing booking and ordering services are linked. Enquiry forms, embedded integrations, online payments, customer accounts, editing dashboards and custom booking systems need a separate agreed scope and may cost extra. No paid subscription is added without your agreement.
A revision round is one consolidated list of changes within the agreed brief. New pages, features or a new design direction are quoted separately. Correcting a failure to meet the agreed brief does not use your revision allowance.
Website projects require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the balance due after approval and before final launch or handover. Security-only and other custom work follow the payment schedule agreed in your quote. We agree a delivery window around the project and the content you can supply. Missing content or delayed feedback can move that window. Cancellation and any refund are handled under the agreed project terms.
We include 30 days after launch or handover to report and correct failures against the agreed brief. Ongoing edits and support are covered by a care plan or a separate quote. Your domain remains yours.
The plan covers an agreed simple SBG-built website. Monthly checks include key pages, HTTPS, contact and booking links, and relevant security advisories for the supported software. Enquiry delivery is checked if a supported form is included. Source and build copies are retained after changes, with an independent backup and a quarterly restoration check.
Up to two grouped requests share 30 minutes of small text/image edits or minor fixes each month. Initial problem investigation has a separate 15-minute monthly allowance. Unused time does not roll over. Routine maintenance covers up to 30 minutes of supported updates each month.
New pages, redesigns, new features, major upgrades or integrations, malware recovery and work beyond these allowances are quoted before starting. Availability alerts are automated; human responses are not immediate. This is not continuous security surveillance or emergency cover.
We aim to acknowledge normal enquiries and support within one business day where practical, normally within one to two business days. Acknowledgement is not a guaranteed resolution time. No fixed office hours or 24/7 support are offered.
Care renews monthly in advance. You can cancel by email before the next renewal; service continues to the end of the paid month. Ownership and a standard handover are preserved. The care agreement explains refunds where service cannot be provided.

Security is part of building properly. We use sensible configuration and carefully selected tools. Separate security reviews and remediation are agreed around the actual website and the work we can responsibly deliver.

Usually, yes. We review your current setup first and plan any changes carefully, including the effect on your email. Your domain stays registered to you.
We can link to a suitable booking service you already use. A custom booking system or a new paid integration is a separate scope, agreed before work starts.
For our simple websites, SBG can handle occasional changes. If you need to edit content frequently, tell us at the start so we can recommend and quote an appropriate editing system.
A short review of normally public pages, with a few practical observations about layout, mobile use, information, customer journeys and relevant publicly visible security/configuration signals. A review can be useful even when the existing site suits the business. No active security testing takes place without written authorisation and defined scope.
